What is Hanasaari’s mission? PDF Print E-mail

 

The Hanasaari Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre is a non-profit organisation with a bilateral governmental purpose. The Centre has worked to promote co-operation, contacts and the exchange of experiences between Finland and Sweden since 1975.

Together with other players, Hanasaari organises events, courses, seminars and projects that are related to current issues and phenomena in all sectors of society.

The aim of Hanasaari’s events and activities is not to seek financial profit but to work for the good of the participants, co-operation partners and our societies. To this end, Hanasaari’s facilities include a conference centre that is located in a maritime setting, only a few minutes’ drive from Helsinki city centre.

Social debate at Hanaforum PDF Print E-mail

 

Hanasaari contributes to the social debate mainly through the debate series Hanaforum.

Hanaforum is a series of lively, dynamic, high-level discussions between Sweden and Finland. The series encourages constructive discussion in both countries by highlighting current social questions. There is a distinct need to use Sweden and Finland as complementary references in questions of current affairs.
